After five years of research and development, Acellus Academy has announced the release of Acellus Gold Edition – the next generation of the Acellus Learning Accelerator. The system includes lessons filmed in high-definition, interactive learning activities that help motivate students, and a dynamic learning experience for grades K-12.
VECTORED INSTRUCTION
Accelerating Learning
Acellus Vectored Instruction® is a powerful intervention strategy that fills critical holes in a student’s understanding to accelerate learning. When a foundational deficiency is diagnosed, Vectored Instruction goes as far back as necessary, even pulling from prior grade-levels if required, to fill in the missing foundational knowledge. Once the student has restored that requisite foundation, they resume the course where they left off, better prepared for success.
WRITING TUTOR
Helping Students Become Exceptional Writers
Teaching effective writing is one of the toughest challenges in distance learning. The Acellus Writing Tutor® is designed to tutor students as they write, giving immediate feedback on grammar, spelling, vocabulary, and even writing style. With this personalized feedback, students quickly discover that they can become exceptional writers.

The amount of gold earned is directly related to the difficulty of assignments and demonstrated mastery, making learning both challenging and rewarding. Gold credits can be used to redeem rewards within the Acellus Gold interface, helping students visualize the value of the knowledge they acquire.
LESSONS WITH 3Di
A New Method of Instruction
Acellus Gold uses 3Di, a method designed to make challenging concepts easier to understand. Using detailed 3D models, 3DI allows students to explore concepts at the molecular level or slow down mechanical processes for clear explanations.
Concepts are taught step by step, and students are assessed to determine their mastery. Depending on their results, they either advance in the course or receive targeted instruction to address specific knowledge gaps.

Students can create and invite classmates to participate in their own competitions within Acellus Gold. They have the opportunity to showcase achievements, such as high exam scores or completed goals, and receive positive feedback from peers through pre-set encouraging messages.

Helping Students Stay on Track
Parents can set weekly goals for each course through the parent dashboard. Here, you can view an overview of each student’s goals and daily progress, helping you identify those who may need more support. You can also see detailed insights into their courses, completion percentages, grades, and GPA.

What new features are available for students?
To optimize the learning experience for different age levels, Acellus Gold includes separate interfaces for elementary, middle school, and high school students. This allows Acellus Gold to use different motivational strategies and rewards tailored specifically to each age level. The system has been enhanced with many new features to motivate students, including the creation of learning activities. For example, the Write a Book activity allows students to create their own stories with fun images. Learning activities are locked until the student completes their daily progress goals. The new Classmates interface allows students to post achievements and share positive comments regarding the achievements of other students. As students complete course milestones, Gold Credits are accumulated in each student’s account. There are many other new and exciting features for students to explore in Acellus Gold.
How can students replay videos or retake lessons?
Acellus Gold Edition includes a new feature where students can review videos from previous lessons. The option to re-take a lesson or re-watch a video is located under the Lesson List (Select the class >> ☰ >> Lesson List). You may scroll through your completed lessons and select the pencil icon to re-take a lesson assessment, or select the video icon to re-watch a video lesson.
How can students view weekly goals or know how much to do?
In Acellus Gold, students can now view their daily goals directly within each course. While studying in a course, the daily goal will be located under the Course Menu (☰) on the upper-right corner of the screen.
What are gold credits?
Acellus Gold Edition awards students with gold credits as they progress through their courses. This system is intended to visually underscore the value of learning and emphasize that acquiring knowledge empowers students. Gold credits can be earned based on the difficulty of assignments and based on the level of mastery shown. Gold credits earned can be viewed on the Stats page.
