Tenth Grade Overview
Acellus Academy is an accredited online school, meaning high school students graduate with a high school diploma upon completion of all necessary requirements. Our mission is to provide a self-paced online education that expands students’ access to college and career opportunities.
The courses taken during tenth grade vary from student to student. We recommend creating a high school education plan to make sure all requirements are being met. Other than meeting certain graduation requirements, parents and teens have the liberty to select courses the students find most interesting.

10th Grade Course Structure
Acellus Academy uses captivating video lessons and interactive course materials in every course. Quizzes, exams, and hands-on projects and activities allow students to apply the concepts that are covered in their units and lessons.
Our courses provide each student with a personal learning experience using an innovative tool called Vectored Instruction. By finding gaps in a student’s prior knowledge, it fills in potential holes by prompting extra help videos and practice problems. The Acellus Learning Accelerator lets students advance through the material at their own pace while getting additional assistance on the lesson they struggle with understanding.
Students access all courses and resources through the Acellus App where they log in to a student interface. Here, students can view their lessons, assignments, grades, and progress as well as set goals for their courses.
Creating a High School Education Plan
Acellus Academy recommends that our online high school students work with their parents to create an education plan to make sure they are meeting all graduation requirements while taking courses they enjoy. A high school education plan includes a strategy for courses to take, graduation pathway, college or career planning, and tuition and fees. This is a great resource for parents and students alike. High school education plans do not take long to create and can be edited and changed as necessary.
